Post Name: Junior Software Engineer

  • No. of Vacancy: 40 Posts
  • Pay Scale: Rs.35400/-

Post Name: Junior Network Engineer

  • No. of Vacancy: 14 Posts
  • Pay Scale: Rs.35400/-

Educational Qualification: 

  • For Junior Software Engineer: B.Sc (Computer Science)/BCA/ 3 years Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology Enabled Services & Management/ a level Examination of DOEACC.
  • For Junior Network Engineer: 3 years Diploma in Electronics or Electronics and Communication or related subjects like Instrumentation or 4-years Degree in Electronics or Electronics and Communication.

Age Limit: 22 to 28 years as on 02.12.2016

Application Fee: Candidates have to Pay Rs.1000/- though Challan. No Fee for SC/ST/PWD or Women candidates.

The Ministry of Railways set up CRIS as a Society in July 1986. We are headquartered in New Delhi, with Regional offices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and Secunderabad.
Our current portfolio of projects covers the gamut of Indian Railways functions, such as passenger ticketing, freight operations, train dispatching and control, crew management, e-procurement, management of Railways’ fixed and moving assets, and production of rolling stock. Other projects under execution include development of ticketing on mobile phones, linking tickets to Aadhaar, tracking of trains in real time through GPS, tracking of rolling stock using radio frequency identification, setting up a geo-spatial database for the Railways, and the setting up a state-of-the-art datacentre to house the Railways’ IT system.
